FALL INDOOR SOCCER REGISTRATION BEGINS AT HERSHEY SPORTS COMPLEX!
The City of Mississauga’s Hershey Sports Complex in cooperation with the Dixie Soccer Club announces the start of fall registration for Adult and Youth Indoor Soccer Leagues at the city’s premiere indoor field facility.
“This marks the beginning of the third fall season since opening the Sports Complex in September 2007”, said Community Services Commissioner Paul Mitcham. “Working with the six affiliated soccer clubs in Mississauga provides the leagues with a tremendous player base in both youth and adult age groups. We would like to thank the Erin Mills Soccer Club for having done a great job in being our host club for the past two years and look forward to working with Dixie Soccer as they now step into the role as host club.”
Adult League registration for Men’s, Women’s and Co-Ed teams has been on-going and runs until September 13. Registration for the competitive Youth League for local club teams starts immediately and runs until October 2.
“Recognizing current economic conditions we’ve kept fees at the 2008 level” says League Supervisor Jon Kilmartin. “Teams will receive the same tremendous benefits as last season including a guarantee of 15 games in a climate controlled atmosphere on new field turf and for after game festivities we’ve got the fully licensed Extra Time lounge.”

The Hershey Sports Complex, part of the Hershey SportZone group of facilities, boasts a FIFA size indoor field with state of the art turf that can be divided into 4 separate field areas for indoor league play. The 200,000 sq ft facility opened in September 2007 and also features a triple gymnasium, locker room amenities, meeting rooms, licensed lounge, outdoor artificial turf fields and is home to Gymnastics Mississauga. In addition to the Sports Complex, the Hershey SportZone properties include the Hershey Centre and Iceland Mississauga.
