The Dixie SC runs an extensive Boys & Girls competitive program commencing at the Under-8 age group. DSC teams compete in leagues throughout the Ontario Soccer South Region (Peel, Halton, Hamilton & Niagara).

U8-U12 Divisions:

DSC Grassroots divisions play in the Peel Halton Development League. 

This is a festival-style league which runs on Saturday mornings/afternoons throughout the summer months. No scores and/or standings are recorded for these age groups. 


U13-U18 Divisions:

Our REP/Competitive teams compete in the Peel Halton Youth League (PHDL) or the Golden Horseshoe Soccer League (GHSL).  Games take place on weekdays with the possibility of games on weekends throughout the summer months. Scores and standings are recorded for these age groups. 


U21 Division:

Our U21 teams compete in the Ontario Soccer League (OSL) and the Ontario Women’s Soccer League (OWSL) throughout the summer months (May-August). 


Entrance into our programs is done through player trials/assessment sessions. Players selected into our program will receive two training sessions and one league game per week.


Registration for all competitive programs is paid prior to the start of the seasons.

We hope everyone is doing well and excited to return to soccer! 


Peel Region will be moving to Step 1 of the Road Map to Re-opening Ontario on June 11th.  During this time, the Province of Ontario, Canada Soccer and Ontario Soccer have loosened some restrictions to allow physically distanced soccer training with no contact.  City of Mississauga field permits will commence on Monday June 14th.

The registration fees for the 2021 Outdoor season are based on Step 1 of the Return to Play Plan.  Additional player fees will be applicable for Step 2 and Step 3 of the Return to Play plan.  Details on next steps will be distributed once available.

Registration for the 2021 Outdoor REP season will open on Wednesday June 9th at 12pm (noon).  Online registration only is available at Deadline to register for STEP 1 of RTP is Friday June 11th at 12pm (noon). Registration fee will not be pro-rated for late registration. 


                  Dixie SC has moved over to PowerUp Sports for registration.  To register, please visit the home page of the website and click on the LOGIN/REGISTER red button (top right corner).  You will be required to create a family account prior to registering for club programs. Instructions for PowerUp are attached to email. 2020/21 Indoor season Player Registration credits have been entered in the PowerUp system and can be applied at time of registration.


No refunds will be issued once players are registered. Waiver and Declaration of Compliance forms must be submitted by every registered participant (team officials and players) in order to participate in training sessions.  


Ontario Soccer Return-to-Play Guidelines

STEP 1: Individualized Outdoor Training



Start Date: Week of June 14-19 (City field permits to commence on Monday June 14)


Conditions: Province of Ontario conditions now met.  In-person physically distanced team sports are approved to begin.


Rules & Restrictions:

  • The total number of participants permitted to be involved in individualized outdoor training activity at any one time is limited to ten (10) participants (players & coaches) per ¼ of full field at one time (City of Mississauga and Ontario Soccer rule). Any teams violating this rule will have permit revoked and may be subject to disciplinary measures. 

  • Physically distanced training only, with at least two meters (2M) distance required between all participants (Players + Coach).  Any teams violating this rule will have permit revoked and may be subject to disciplinary measures.

  • No contact between participants is permitted during Step 1.

  • No league, exhibition, festival, or tournament game play permitted during Step 1.

  • While in Technical/Bench area: Masks must be worn by Coaches at all times and by any player sitting on the sidelines.

  • Physical distancing of at least two meters (2M) is required as participants (player/coach) enter and exit the field.

  • Masks are required for all participants (players/coach) while entering and exiting the field.

  • No spectators will be permitted on field.  Participants under the age of 18 years who are registered with DSC and are participating in a scheduled training session may be accompanied by one (1) parent/guardian.  Spectators may observe from outside the gated area while physically distanced.

  • Contact tracing must be completed prior to all training sessions and submitted into the club immediately after session, via email to Angela at

  • All playing and/or training equipment must be cleaned and disinfected between each use.


The DSC Return-to-Play Guide will be emailed out to all registrants on or before Monday June 14th at 12pm (noon).  The club is awaiting further details that may be shared by our governing bodies prior to releasing the updated guide. 


Training Sessions & Schedule

2x75 minute training sessions per week (total of 6 training sessions) will be allotted to each team/group at no charge to the players.  Additional field time may be available once initial training schedule is complete. Please check with REP Administrator for field availability and costs. 


Training schedule for RTP Step 1 will be formed based on player registration numbers and will be sent out to team officials on or before Sunday June 13th at 12pm (noon).  Training schedule (days/times/locations) are subject to change for Step 2 and onwards.


Cancellation of sessions: The club will make every effort to reschedule sessions that are cancelled due to inclement weather, however, if time does not permit, refunds will not be offered for cancelled sessions.
